We will be open on Memorial Day from 8am - 12pm for the annual Merrick Memorial Day Parade.

The annual Merrick Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026. Hosted by the American Legion Merrick Post No. 1282, the community event honors the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.

Key Details for the 2026 Parade:

• Lineup Time: 8:30 AM

• Step-Off Time: 9:30 AM

• Starting Location: Broadcast Plaza, located near the Merrick Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station

• Route: The parade will proceed north on Merrick Avenue.

• Ending Point: Veterans Memorial Park (near Lee Avenue in North Merrick), where a solemn memorial ceremony will take place.

The parade will take place rain or shine.
